In the same forest management area of Fazenda São Nicolau, ONF Brasil carries out the sustainable extraction of copaiba oleoresin following the Protocol of the Non-Timber Sustainable Forest Management Plan. The activity contributes to productive diversification and the conservation of standing forest, and is expected to scale up through applied research and actions in partnership with the Rikbaktsa People of Babaçuzal Village, in the Escondido Indigenous Land.
