Forest as a classroom
Since 2001, ONF Brazil’s Environmental Education Program (PEA) has transformed Fazenda São Nicolau into a space for experience, learning, exchange and connection with nature. The PEA promotes ecological trails, workshops, technical visits and practical experiences, strengthening the dialogue between conservation, sustainable production and territory.

In each edition, the PEA develops a central theme aligned with local realities – such as fire prevention, ecosystem services, sustainable tourism and positive-impact alternatives – promoting reflection and action in the Amazonian context.
