Forest Nursery

The Fazenda São Nicolau nursery is a strategic structure for developing environmental restoration, sustainable production and local community integration actions. Its work is directly linked to the production of seedlings for the implementation of agroforestry systems, recovery of degraded areas and support for productive initiatives in the territory.

Among the species produced, both those aimed at ecological restoration and crops of economic interest, such as coffee (Coffea canephora), stand out, contributing to productive diversification and the strengthening of sustainable value chains in the region. The nursery also meets the demands of projects developed on the farm and of partner producers, expanding its reach and local impact.

In addition, the seedlings produced are used in the restoration of preservation areas, associated with management practices that support the establishment and development of planted species.
